MEET ALCIRO DEACON
A Voice for District 16 - Heard where decisions are made

I’m Alciro Deacon—and there are a few things you should know about me.

I’m a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  I believe in keeping it real for the good of my community—even when it’s not the easy thing to do.

I’m a proud father of four, and I was married for 15 years. Family matters to me—because I live it.

And no offense, but I’m not a politician.  I’ve never really cared for politics.  What I care about is representation.

And to be frank—I still live right here in the community.  I haven’t stepped away from it.  I’m still in it, and I see what people are dealing with every day.  That’s why I’m running for State Assembly—because I’ve seen firsthand how systems impact real people.

I’ve spent nearly two decades working directly with families, jobseekers, and individuals navigating real challenges. I’ve worked in fatherhood programming, workforce development, and reentry—helping connect people to real opportunities while seeing where policies fall short in everyday life.

I’ve also worked behind the scenes designing programs and making sure the organizations running them are held accountable to deliver real results—not just promises.

I’m running as a Republican because I believe our district deserves a voice that is not only present—but heard where decisions are made.

District 16 has had voices. But it’s time we have a voice that is actually heard where decisions are made.

If we want different results, we have to make sure our voice is present where decisions are actually happening.

I’m running to be that voice.
